KRISTIJAN JAKIC: EXPLOSIVE PLAYMAKER WITH BALANCE
Kristijan Jakic is an explosive playmaker with balance and strenght in his legs. He remembers, for his play style, Inter’s midfielder Marcelo Brozovic. He shows great skills and an high tactical intelligence. He’s one of the talents of Dinamo Zagreb.
FIRST STEPS
Kristijan was born in Spalato in 1997. He moves his first steps in the youth team of Imotski. He was only 15, but he has already great qualities. He was able to be smart on the pitch, passing the ball with precision and timing. He had also a great shot. From 2013 to 2016 he played for his homeplace.

In Spalato he has an exponential growth. He played with quality and professionalism when it was called on the pitch. On 26 February, 2015, he was called for the first time with Croatian National Team U19, in which he played six matches. In 2016 was in the squad for European U19 Championship, and played against England. In this occasion he showed his skills to the world.

THE QUALITATIVE LEAP
In 2017 Lokomotiva Zagreb bought him for 135 K, in which he played with constancy and determination: he collected 59 appearances and 5 gol. On 25 of April, 2018, he had his first match with Croatian U20 against Italy. In the same year he went on loan to Istria for 4 months. In the summer of 2020 Dinamo Zagreb takes him for 1,2 Million and he signed a contract untill June 2025. He choose number 97.

With Dinamo Zagreb, Jakic made a qualitative leap in his career. He made his debut in Croatian League on 12 September against his old team Spalato. Ways of destiny. Dinamo won 2-1. Four days later his made his debut in Champions League qualification against Ferencvaros. On 8 of November Jakic scored his first gol with Dinamo: an Eurogol under the top corner. He played all the Europa League group K matches running for many km.
